The 30mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens with 4x optical zoom takes wider shots than an ordinary 35mm lens. This is helpful in small rooms or crowded places, for example, letting you fit more people into a group photo. There's also an Easy Zoom button on the camera top - just press it, and the optical zoom and Extra Optical Zoom instantly extend to full telescopic position. This quick zooming lets you catch even fleeting opportunities. |

has such ease of use for the beginner and sufficient to satisy the serious photographer as well. A really great camera with features that are often only found in the more expensive Digital Camera and there are not as many around in this price range as you would ...

I bought this from Pixmania recently for under £240 and it is an excellent camera for the money. On second thoughts, it would be an excellent camera for £350 but Pixmania has a great deal on. I bought a 1Gb data card as the bundled card at 32Mb would only be good for a handful of top quality photo's. The features are easy to use, has a great user interface and the picture quality is stunning. I had a Canon PowerShot A70 before which was OK but only 3.2 mega-pixels. The step up to 5 Mp+ makes a big difference but i is really in the quality of the Leica lens and a massive 10X optical zoom that the real difference is noticed. Unlike most of its ...

advanced features and to get the best used out of it, I really must do once the children have gone back to school. The camera has a Lumix lense which I ll admit means nothing to me as I am just an enthusiastic Mum who fancies herself as a hobby photographer and has taked about 50 billion pics of her poor children, but with this camera I can pass myself off as knowing what I am doing. It takes absolutley AMAZING pictures and there is virtually no time lag, I love the feature for taking loads of photos one after the other, in conjunction with the 12x zoom it means I can get great pictures I would have otherwise missed. The record function for recording a sound bite ...
