Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07EG-KNow you can capture clear, sharp photos in virtually all-shooting situations. LUMIX's popular MEGA O.I.S. suppresses the blurring caused by handshake, and Intelligent ISO Control minimizes motion-caused blurring when photographing children, animals, or other moving subjects. So you get less blurring and more beauty. Venus Engine III, the newly improved image processing LSI, inherits the conventional Venus Engine II's quick response and high-quality image output. This makes it possible to shoot at ISO 1250 with full resolution. The mode dial makes it easy to retrieve the desired mode settings. Or choose Simple Mode and just aim and shoot. Even first-time users can take great photos. A variety of Scene Mode settings optimize Party, Self Portrait, Aerial, Beach and other photo techniques, giving you a choice of eighteen modes in all. High Speed AF gives you quicker, easier focusing for more shooting flexibility and fun. Records stunning full-size movies in wide aspect VGA (848 x 480) at 30 (fps). |

Rating:
angle tends to vignette, even with the low-profile Hoya super pro polarising filter - the 12x zoom is great but doesn t focus close enough (approx 2m minimum), so using macro more often than I d expect - Panasonic spares v costly (and hard to get at airports!) - get the Olympus FL50 flash, the Uniross battery etc - custom settings should be easier to alter: "set from what I m using" would be good - multi-frame rather clunky - wide angle not very wide This Panasonic camera has been well reviewed at Digital Photography Review of course, where there s a good Panasonic user forum ...

I bought this from Pixmania recently for under £240 and it is an excellent camera for the money. On second thoughts, it would be an excellent camera for £350 but Pixmania has a great deal on. I bought a 1Gb data card as the bundled card at 32Mb would only be good for a handful of top quality photo's. The features are easy to use, has a great user interface and the picture quality is stunning. I had a Canon PowerShot A70 before which was OK but only 3.2 mega-pixels. The step up to 5 Mp+ makes a big difference but i is really in the quality of the Leica lens and a massive 10X optical zoom that the real difference is noticed. Unlike most of its ...
