I have owned a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX10 for just over three years. It is a brilliant little camera, perfect for those who know nothing about photography and just want to take some nice pictures.

Good points: It has a really large screen which makes taking and viewing pictures much easier. You have the option to adjust all the settings (exposure etc) manually, or you can use the 'intelligent iso' setting, which does it all for you. The resulting pictures are good quality.

The camera is really easy to use, there's a little wheel that you use to move from playback, to movie, to take pictures etc. I particularly like the way you can zoom in and out using a little lever type device right next to the button for taking pictures. This allows you to zoom and shoot without having to take your eye off the screen.

Other good features are a choice of 31 scene settings, a clear delete button, the flash is easy to turn on and off, and for those with shaky hands it has a setting to account for this- means no more blurred photos!

Finally, this camera is very robust. I have taken mine on countless holidays, and used it in the rain, and snow. It's been dropped a couple of times, and put down on sand and dirt, yet despite all this abuse it still works perfectly! It's a good size too, just about small enough to fit in a jeans pocket, and I keep mine in a mobile phone sock. The re-chargeable battery is also really good, mine lasted for three weeks without needing to be recharged last time I went on holiday!

All in all, I can't think of anything I dislike about this camera, and would happily buy another one in the future!
