Advantages: Picture quality, ease of use, battery life, sturdy build.

Disadvantages: Might be too small for people with really big hands!

I bought this camera a few months ago and it has worked perfectly ever since.

The main reason why I got this camera was because of the excellent reviews, I couldn't find a bad review. Also, I wanted a smallish camera that would fit in my pocket or my handbag and not take up too much room while still being able to take good photos. This Panasonic Lumix achieves just that, with 7.2 megapixels the photos are clear and detailed. With the 'anti-shake' feature you can take non-blurred photos easily.

The camera is sturdy and well made, you can tell this as soon as you take it out of the packaging. The cover for the memory card etc is on a strong hinge and I can't see that breaking off easily unless you are very careless with it.

One really good point is that on the right hand side of the camera there is a bit for you to hold so you can take photos using only one hand which makes life a lot easier. The camera also comes with a wrist strap and a box to hold the battery when not in use, or if you buy a spare which is a bonus.

The battery life is also very good, it lasted for a whole weeks holiday and I didn't have to charge it again for a while after I got home. I find that the lithium camera batteries last a lot longer than the AA batteries a lot of cameras use.

For such a good camera I would have expected the price to be higher than it was but I was pleasantly surprised with it.

I would recommend this camera to anyone that doesn't want something too complicated but also doesn't want a really simple camera, it is a bit inbetween simple and complicated! But still easy to use.
