Use the 6x optical zoom together with the 4x digital zoom to enjoy up to 24x zoom power, which approximates a 888 mm zoom lens on a 35mm camera, with a body size as compact as an ordinary 3x optical zoom camera. You can take up to 5 images in Standard Mode and 3 images in Fine Mode with full resolution. In addition, the Unlimited Consecutive Shooting function lets you continue shooting until the memory card or built-in memory is full. All this is made possible by the Venus Engine Plus, which reduces power consumption by about 50% compared with the previous Venus Engine. The multi-task image processing in the Venus Engine Plus LSI has accelerated response speed, giving you more comfortable shooting with a release time lag of 0.008 second minimum. The bright 2.0" diagonal LCD monitor is easy to see. Its TRM (Transmissive with Micro Reflective) design suppresses reflection, so you see your subject clearly even when shooting outdoors. The DMC-LZ2 can be powered by two AA alkaline or two rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. Two Panasonic Oxyride batteries allow you to take up to 235 photos. Alkaline batteries let you take about 175 photos and nickel-metal hydride batteries allow up to 390 photos. Take photos even when you don't have an SD Memory Card on hand. The built-in memory holds up to 14MB of image data, which you can later upload to an SD Memory Card or PC. You can also download images from a memory card or PC to the built-in memory, and view them on the LCD anytime you like. |

Rating:
I had this camera brought for me as a present so have no idea how much it cost, my dad chose this one for me as he knows i am absolutely useless with modern technology and this camera he was told was very easy to use and idiot proof, i was the test guinea pig and it seems to be true, well maybe not idiot proof but definately barbie proof. This is a small silver and black camera with a large viewing screen on the back which takes up most of the back of the camera, it has a 28mm wide angle lense which is great for taking landscape pictures or pictures with lots of people in like at partys or weddings as you can fit more people on the screen, it has 10x optical zoom which is ...

Rating:
on the camera to show your friends! Being a Panasonic Lumix means it uses a high quality Leica lense which is 28mm wide angle allowing for some brilliant 16:9 pictures. The video mode on the camera records in high quality with decent sound quality. The camera also comes with a AV cable for connection to televisions to showcase pictures and videos on big screen. The camera features intelligent auto mode which works out all the settings for you as well as anti-shake mode and automatic face recognition. A manual and macro setting is also available to take better control over you pictures. Battery life is great and it is compatable with SDHC memory ...

Rating:
Previous - This is the first camera that I have ever brought, and I was looking for a Panasonic one, (one from the new Lumix range). I decided on the Lumix F7. Why this camera? I thought I would buy a Panasonic camera, because I have always had a good opinion of Panasonic, and these come with a very good lens (Leica DC). Specs and review - This camera has effective 2.0 Megapixel CCD. Coupled with a very good lens, it is a perfect match. What is good about these cameras (Lumix) is they run on the Panasonic SD card to store the information. These cards can also be used to store video (which can be done on this camera) and music for in car stereos. This ...
