I purchased this camera about 6 months ago as soon as it was released here. I have since been on a holiday with it, and taken over 1000 photos.

The look and feel of it oozes quality, and the back of it is pretty much all screen (which happens to be very clear, even in bright conditions).

It takes a really great photo, using the AI technology its basically point and shoot, but it also has the ability to let the user tweak the settings or select from one of the many useful preloaded settings.

One of the big selling points of this camera is HD recording, which is brilliant. The quality even when viewed on a large television is superb and almost makes camcorders obsolete.

I use this camera with a 4gb and 8gb sdhc card (class 6). make sure you use class 6 when recording in HD as it can be quite jumpy otherwise.

Summary: If you are looking for a digital camera, forget everything else, get this
