Advantages: small enough to carry around but a big zoom so you can still take great photographs

This camera is amazing! I never used to spend a lot on a camera, I could never understand the point of it. But, one day I decided that I should invest in a decent digital camera that would last me for years. After a lot of research, mostly on the internet but also talking to friends, I decided on the Lumix DMC-TZ5.

This was such a good decision, I'm so pleased with my choice. I wanted a camera with a large zoom, but that was small enough so that I could carry around with me at all times. I got everything I wanted and more out of this camera. Not only is the zoom amazing, but there are lots of settings (that I don't always use I admit) to allow me to create the photos that I'm looking for. And, for those times when I don't want to fuss around and fiddle with the settings there is an intelligent setting, where the camera automatically works out the settings for the current situation. So you can point & click.

I've got some great photographs from this camera and am really pleased with my purchase.

Summary: A great camera that I would recommend to anyone!
