Pentax Optio M10

Optio M10 is a very simple lightweight digital camera with some interesting features but also some limitations. It weighs a lot less than many standard cameras and has a 6.0 Megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, a SD card insert and a decent flash option. The menu is also quite good and very intuitive to use. Many different modes are present which automatically ajust the camera s settings so that the picture turns out quite good. In my year of experience with this camera (although I do not use it too often), I ve used several of these options with mixed results. The "kids" mode for instance, I did not ind too good because it increases the time of exposure too ...

Pentax Optio W10

Although I still technically have this camera, it no longer works after I used it in water after a big fall. Before that point, I alsolutely loved this camera, as it had fantastic features and brilliant picture quality. The best bit was the waterproof-ness - on holiday, it took perfect, clear pictures of my partner scuba diving, fish, sea anenmoes etc. Even just stuck in a rock pool and pointed in the right direction it gives good pictures! The features are fantastic too, the menu options for close up, landscape, fireworks, snow etc help give really good picture quality. I was also able to take good close up photos of my jewellery, including stones, although oddly the photos came up better ...

Pentax *ist DS

from the different camera web sites I researched with, plus I had owned a regular SLR camera previously and liked it. After much bandwidth and research I decided that the Pentax iST DS was the one for me, and duly purchased it. I have to say I have not been disappointed! The camera looks and feels professional and very solid, yet at the same time you don t feel like you re carrying around a ton of equipment with you when you take the camera. I opted to buy the body and lens kit (18-55mm) option, so this has been the lens I used for the vast majority of my pictures. The range of preset shooting modes has meant that anyone could pick up the camera and be getting nice high ...
