... suggest as with anything you take time to read the manual as its worth it to use all of its features. Pentax lenses can be quite pricey but tamron and sigma both produce compatible lenses for a fraction of the price! The only downside is no regargeable batteries just aa batteries which drain quite quickly. a video setting would have been nice too but its a great reliable camera. Its a stylish looking camera too with a large lcd display to the rear.Overall I would say don't follow the canon crowd and give Pentax a go....more

I bought this for £319.99 from Jessops. Included was the 18-50mm lens. I have since bought the 70-200 & 80-300 sigma compatible lenses. I am not a professional photographer but the photographs I have produced are fantastic. The macro setting for close up photography is brilliant, I like taking pictures of flowers and it captures them perfectly. The colour on prints is really good too. I suggest as with anything you take time to read the manual as its worth it to use all of its features.
