Pentax Optio 330RS

Premium Review Great Little Camera (437 words)

Rating:

one of the best I have ever used. It is very compact, fits into your pocket easily, and looks very sleek. The Optio 330RS may not be the best when you look at megapixels, but it's features are plentiful. The camera can record 30 second blocks of video, 320x240 resolution. The avi's that it produces are remarkably low in size, at around 3mb per 30 seconds. It's most original feature is the 3D mode. Switching the camera into this mode will give you a screen that lets you take 2 photos. You take these at slightly different angles, but from the same height. These are joined together by the camera and when printed (and looked at through the ...

I was in the market for a digtal camer as i was fed up of getting prints developed and then scanned on to the pc. I came across the Pentax Optio 430rs. I admit it wasn t my first choice but it fell within my price range. The camera itself is a great looker with its metal gunmetal grey housing and is about the size of a smallish 35mm camera. At first I was dissapointed in the size as I thought with digital cameras came miniturisation. As i became accustomed to the camera though i appreciated that it was just the right size for my big fingers to operate and yet small enough to slip into my pocket and not cause a too embarrressing bulge in the front of my trousers(ahem ...

Premium Review Power-packed petite Pentax (590 words)

Rating:

This little Pentax is a neat machine. No bigger than a box of cigarettes I think it punches well above its weight. And that’s the first thing you feel when you pick it up ... its weight. It feels solidly built and robust in its stainless steel casing. The only slightly tacky (and weaker-feeling) parts to it are the plastic covers for the battery and flash card compartments. It’s also packed with options. You can take individual pictures at three main resolutions (2048x1536 or 1024x768 or 640x480 pixels), three ‘degrees’ of ‘quality’ and three degrees of sharpness. The only thing is ... pictures at the highest setting come out as ...
