Description: Model ID 1807701 / Pentax Optio 430 - Digital camera - 4.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: CF - silver / Compact is a word that understates the Optio 430. It is smaller than a conventional pack of playing cards and weighs just 240g. Size, however, is no measure of ... more
Pentax Optio 430 ... strength, as its slim, shiny exterior holds the power to achieve a surprisingly high level of image quality. This has been made possible through the incorporation of a powerful 4.13-megapixel 1/1.8-inch primary color CCD and advanced Pentax image processing technology. The Optio 430 also has a high-performance 3X zoom lens (equivalent to 37.5 - 112.5mm in 35mm format), which provides superb compositional versatility and has been reduced in size through the integration of two dual-sided aspherical elements and a redesigned lens barrel. This lens successfully combines impressively high image resolution with a low level of image distortion, and adds a further enhancement to the performance of this powerful compact camera. The Optio 430 even has its own alarm clock function. It can be set to display pictures relevant to your schedule at preset times, or to wake you in the morning with a favorite image. More than just a convenient compact digital, the Optio 430 is now an ideal travel accessory, capable of displaying the time in 62 cities across the globe with its world time function.

The Optio 430 lets you obtain pleasing results with simplistic operation. It has a dial, which allows all playback and shooting modes to be selected with ease, while its image processing circuit and user-friendly software serve to further enhance overall operability. In short, the Optio 430 brings convenience with a new level of quality; it allows fast composition and shooting that produces shots with lasting impact.

Pentax Optio 750Z

Premium Review Stylish Compact Digital Camera (254 words)

Rating:

I have owned the Pentax Optio 750z for about two years now and, being my first digital camera, it has certainly lived up to all my expectations. My choice was based on three main factors: 1)Price 2)Looks and 3)Technical Ability. I had quite a bit of money to spend (£400-£500 approx) and compared all available in this price range. For me, the look of this camera was exactly what I was looking for; Retro, compact and un-assuming. Perfect! This Camera does everything a 35mm SLR camera does, and much, much more besides............ Automatic, manual, the picture mode is great for beginners or if you are in a hurry! It has audio, video, 3D, panoramic, filters, close-up, macro, ...

of modern digital technology has rendered all that fiddling round and inconvenience a sad relic of an earlier age. When you can get a bright shiny new Digital Camera for less than 400 quid which gives simply wonderful results and requires no ongoing maintenance or expense other than the occasional sheet of photo paper and/or colour printer cartridge should you choose to turn it into a print (and why would you, when you can enjoy a far superior version on your computer or TV screen) then why on earth would you want to bother with the box brownie and Mr Truprint. No, my friends, the present and future is strictly digital and you simply have to ...

Pentax Optio 450

Premium Review cool camera (317 words)

Rating:

The Pentax Optio 450 is a gorgeous little (well fairly little) camera. It's quite small and silver but it is also quite bulky!! It's practically identical to the Pentax Optio 550 but the 450 uses a 4 megapixel (i'm not entirely sure what megapixels are) ccd while the 550 uses a 5 megapixel ccd. The camera has a 5X zoom but when the zoom is used you can be sacrificing picture quality, and is supposedly very sturdy not that i won't be holding on to mine very tight at the amount it costs!! It weighs about 200-250 grams when it is ready to use. It gives out good quality images and you can change the resolution so the pictures take less time to load up ...
