Pentax Optio 750Z

Rating:
I have owned the Pentax Optio 750z for about two years now and, being my first digital camera, it has certainly lived up to all my expectations. My choice was based on three main factors: 1)Price 2)Looks and 3)Technical Ability. I had quite a bit of money to spend (£400-£500 approx) and compared all available in this price range. For me, the look of this camera was exactly what I was looking for; Retro, compact and un-assuming. Perfect! This Camera does everything a 35mm SLR camera does, and much, much more besides............ Automatic, manual, the picture mode is great for beginners or if you are in a hurry! It has audio, video, 3D, panoramic, filters, close-up, macro, ...

No, my friends, the present and future is strictly digital and you simply have to ...

Rating:
The Pentax Optio 450 is a gorgeous little (well fairly little) camera. It's quite small and silver but it is also quite bulky!! It's practically identical to the Pentax Optio 550 but the 450 uses a 4 megapixel (i'm not entirely sure what megapixels are) ccd while the 550 uses a 5 megapixel ccd. The camera has a 5X zoom but when the zoom is used you can be sacrificing picture quality, and is supposedly very sturdy not that i won't be holding on to mine very tight at the amount it costs!! It weighs about 200-250 grams when it is ready to use. It gives out good quality images and you can change the resolution so the pictures take less time to load up ...
