Pentax Optio L40 (Pentax Optio L40)
Member Name: frostyglow
Advantages: Small and lightweight Disadvantages: Shiny screen & no viwefinder
My sister got me this camera as a Christmas present and I haven't looked at another camera since. It's small and light, I picked up a case for it to protect the screen for under £5 and it fits nicely in my hand bag. I never go anywhere without it. Positive points include size and weight, not to mention the superb picture quality at 8 mega pixels. The other day I went to a concert where I was taking pictures in the dark (of a lit stage) without the use of a tripod and most of them came out great! I've also made good use of the movie function and now have 3 memory cards for it (standard SD which makes it compatible with self-service print kiosks and laptops etc). Battery life is good and I've attached an adjustable wrist-strap so it doesn't slip out of my hands. Summary: Brilliant little camera
