I purchased the Pentax digital camera as an upgrade of my old camera and it was a major step. The main feature of this product is the 10 mega pixels and divx recording capabilities which makes the fie size smaller and reduces battery consumption during recording and playback. The zoom feature is typical for compact cameras as they can only do 3x zoom with the mechanical lens and 4x at digital zoom which decreases clarity. We got the Pentax camera from Jessops after breaking our old one on holiday, first seemed very good, nice and compact with a large screen, 10mpx takes good quality photos. being only 2cm thick it fits easily into your pocket and doesnt feel much bigger than a mobile phone, the build quality is brilliant, feels very sturdy and for around the £100 mark, definitely feels like a camera from the higher end of the market. The zoom could be better, with only 3x optical zoom, taking pictures from a distance is hard work, and using the digital zoom, the pictue loses a lot of clarity.
