Excellent choice for a 1st time digital camera user (Pentax Optio S40)

The Pentax Optio S40 was bought for me as a Christmas present last year and I can honestly say it is the best Christmas present I have ever had!
I have always liked photography but had not got around to going digital, believing it to be too complicated and hard to use. This little camera has proved me totally wrong.
It is a small, very light camera so is very easy to carry around and uses a SD card for memory, depending on what size as to how many photos it will hold. I find the 256mb to be adequate. It comes with very clear instructions on how to use the different functions. It is so simple to use that my 7 year old can even take excellent pictures, even though I may not want 10 photos of Barbie! They are also easily deleted if not wanted.
I would certainly recommend this camera to anyone who is unsure of very technical issues and just wants a camera to take photos easily.
