Polaroid Fun 320 ... you have took, not remaining, and funnily sometimes displayed either 'lo' or 'll' after taking a picture. There was no explanation of these in the manual which was confusing. The photo's it took outdoors were perfectly exposed and after a little sharpening with photo impact looked great for a 320x240 image size. However this means they only print small. Trying to double the image size in photo impact looked awful, only once did the results look near the original. However the driver worked flawlessly and even gave each photo its own number once downloaded onto the hard drive, following on from the last numbered image on the hard drive. So if you fi... Polaroid PhotoMax PDC-700 ... saw this camera offered at a knockdown price of £70 on Insight UK. 0.8 Megapixel and a LCD, at that price I thought, its worth a gamble, for a snapshot camera for the kids. However after a couple of days use I'm impressed, and won't be letting the kids near it. It takes accurate photos quite capable of producing bright, sharp prints at 5x7inches on my Espon 740. The LCD is a joy to use, and the controls whilst initillay a bit complex now come natutally. Whilst 1024x786 resolution won't set the world on fire, the lack of investment means I any happy to take it places I won't dream of taking a more expensive camera. In short I wish I'd bought two... Polaroid PhotoMax PDC 640 ... special offer in the shop. I have found the way the LCD screen works is excellent. It has flash and timer options, and pictures taken look very clear. One "slight" problem though. The software to put pictures onto the PC appears to work ok on its own. But it takes about 50 attempts to get the photos from the camera onto the PC - if at all. You click "accquire", it starts to do something. Then nothing. It just stops. "program not responding". Well maybe I'm doing something wrong? But if so surely there should be information on this in the booklet, cause if so I can't be the only one! I haven't got hours to sp...
