I bought the Ricoh G4 Wide model over the G4 (this model was launched in the late 2003). Main difference is the G4 Wide's focal length is 28 to 85mm while the G4 is 35 to 105mm. I prefer a wider angle to start with. The G4 models are considered very bulky by currents standards but the design of the grip is still comfortable for one hand operation. ...
