series. Most notable difference is the Power button relocated to the back of the camera. This makes it easier to locate. However, if you use the soft pouch supplied by Ricoh and place it in your pocket, there is high chance the Power button can get depressed when you squat down. The lens extends out in the pouch whie still in your pocket. The solution: I always set the Mode Dial to PLAYBACK before sliding it to the pouch. Close-up pictures are very good. IClose-up lover will appreciate the Close-Up AF Target Selection Function, where you can shift the focusing pointer off-center. Noise level has also improved over the G4s.
