Significant improvement over the R5 (Ricoh Caplio R6)
Member Name: clyjem
Advantages: 7x optical, Good close up. Disadvantages: None The R6 continues where the R5 left off with some notable features. The Zoom switch has been relocated to be operated by the forefinger. One feature I really appreciate is the LED for low light shooting. Dual size recording help you save 2 files each shot. The slimmer body makes storage more pleasing. Battery life is very good. Ricoh's close up capability is second to none. There are more "scene modes" compared to the R5. However, moving the movie mode further into the system is unwise. Summary: Highly recomended.
