Advantages: cheap...
Disadvantages: poor quality
After considering buying a digital camera for some time, I went into a shop a picked up this model for around £100, thinking I had got myself a great deal.
When I started taking photos with it, however, I found them to be poor quality and disapointing - though a few turned out alright, they weren't of a good enough standard to do anything with.
Also, it was definetly not worth the amount of money spent on feuling the camera with AA battery after battery - they only seem to last a matter of hours.
An extra cost initially was a memory card - I was not told in the shop that I needed to buy one of these separetly, nor was I told when I went to buy one that there were different sizes, and, as they all look similar, I bought the wrong size and had problems taking photos on holiday.
The flash is poor so taking pictures at night is impossible - it just comes out as a blur.
The main advantages it has are the fact that it is digital, so you can flick through your shots and decided which ones to keep and which not to, and also the short videos feature though this uses up even more battery power.
I quite like the shape and size of the model, and it can be clipped onto your belt easily with the handy case included. Also, the package which is installed onto your PC so you can browse through your photos taken is quite good and easy to use - shame about the photos however.
So I would definetly reccomend to others that, even if you are not that serious about photography to buy a better camera than this, as, to be honest, its pretty poor.
Thanks for reading my review.
