Advantages: voicerecording, 4.0 M pixels, sleek design, Samsung SHD lens, light , largescreen, 12X zoom, timer

Disadvantages: Use flash and your battery won't last long

This product by Samsung is an overall excellent product. If a digital camera is for taking nice pictures, this is an excellent camera to buy at a general price. It takes nice pictures, clear picturez, no red eye problems compared to many other cameras which i have seen, easy to use and handle. It takes a very, very clear picture which is the best part of it. I was tortured by my previous camera due to its red eye problem and dark pics but this camera has a red eye fixer as well so no problem in it. It has a 1.8'' LCD panel compared to smaller size in most other cameras. If you are tensed with not so qualitative pictures from your camera, this will solve the problem for you. It has 12X zoom (3x optical and 4x digital) but at every zoom level, it can take picture in same efficiency and clarity. But this also allow you to take much more non quality pictures however at a expense of great quality. I could take generally 110 high quality pictures through this camera. I bought it 1 year back and it cost me around 125 euros. The only disadvantage of this camera is that battery doesn't last long so chargeable battery is the most. It is probably due to the reason that its flash is so bright that it can brightly light the whole room for a moment when you take the picture and thus takes a lot of battery power. Tha battery may last for around 60 pics(keeping the camera on and off from time to time). It works with both chargeable and non-chargeable batteries which is its another great advantage. I would say Samsung is still the brand to trust after using this camera.

Summary: everything is excellent, but uses a lot of power to be excellent

You said quite a lot in a few words, but as Kingseany says I would have liked to have known about menus, and features, instructions and software that came with it, and also what internal memory the camera has without the addition of a card, all important questions when making a buying decision. If you edit your review, to include more of this information, then I shall happily rerate your review. Rachel X

Hope you get some great snaps. Your review is ok, but a little brief. Add some more of the features, the price you paid. You say the battery doesn't last long - how long does it last? How many images can you take on a fully charged set? What's the zoom like?
