This camera is fairy easy to use without really understanding the finer points! I have been using it for ages without knowing how it works or all the features. Although it's worth looking around for courses (some are free) to really maximise the usage and enjoyment of your digital camera. I did and it was fun. The camera is quite heavy but quite robust. I dropped it recently and it suffered a few scratches only, though I wouldn't recommend doing this! It does have a wrist strap to prevent such accidents. I bought this camera when it was new out about two years ago, i paid well over £100 for it at the time, but i am sure it is available for a lot less than that now. The Samsung Digimax A7 is quite a cosmetic digital camera that although has the basics of a very good camera has added extras such as flashing lights and sounds that just use up more battery life than serve any real purpose. It does make it a little flashier but they don’t particularly serve any purpose. I bought it as an upgrade from a very cheap AGFA camera which was extremely temperamental so at least I knew I’d be happy with a Samsung. This one was £139.99 (excl. VAT) (price gone down a lot now) from Amazon.co.uk (£14 cheaper than Argos) which isn’t really that cheap for a camera. It came in a compact box and turned out to be a bit smaller than I had imagined from ... Read the complete review
