Samsung’s Digimax A4 is a high quality, fully featured digital camera that performs very well, it has an impressive battery life and takes high quality pictures, and very useful videos with sound. The construction of the case seems very sturdy and the camera feels like a solid and well built quality unit. The camera has 3 times optical zoom and a further 4 times digital zoom. The Samsung Digimax 800K is an excellent digital camera at a low price. At around £150 it offers you the chance to enter the world of digital photography. Features include: A normal and Marco function, Built in Flash, 24 true bit colour, 1/2- 1000 shutter speed, Self timer, Delete picture button and much more. The Digimax 800K runs off 2 AA batteries and it does tend to "eat up" batteries so I would advise that you always carry some spare batteries. Samsung’s Digimax 800K is a great little camera for those who want to try a digital camera for the first time, not have to spend too much money or need a degree to work their way through a whole bundle of clever tricks and features. This camera is very limited in extras, but for a beginner, would make an ideal purchase.
