You can edit and convert movie clips using the relevant software, and you can play them back on the camera. |

he got it for Christmas two Christmases ago. I use it quite a lot so feel I am able to comment on it. The model in question is the Samsung Digimax 50 Duo camera. What is it? It is a fairly simple digital camera which is so easy to work. It is also a lovely compact size being only 3.6x2.6x1.4 inches and weighing only 4.2oz.4 so it is easy to carry around with you. It can also be used as a low resolution webcam with 12 images per minute. However I have never used it for this purpose so can not comment on this. I like Samsung . They made my DVD players (the 807, then the 709), my combi microwave, one of my mobiles and now my first digital camera. As with the rest of their products, it's priced at the lower end of the market, has reasonable features and performs well for the money. It cost me 120 pounds, which is about the going price at the moment, and I bought a cheap 8Mb compact flash card to go with it (it comes with a 2Mb card, which isn't quite big enough for a long day out. I believe that 8MB is the maximum it will take, so don't bother buying any bigger if you get this model. I can fit over 30 photos on the card, with plenty of space left. It has options for ...

ages, until we moved house and had a bit of spare cash floating around. Even then, we didnl;t have a spare £400 or so, so we settled on the Samsung Digimax 800k, which cost us £150.00. We've not used one before, so I can;t really compare it to anything, but from what we've seen of this one, it's pretty good. It's easy to download the pictures onto the pc, and very easy to use. You just point it and press the button. Simple! I honestly have no idea how many pictures it will take in one go before the memory becomes full, as we've always downloaded it after we've taken 20 or so pictures.
