Samsung Digimax U-CA 401 ... great photo opportunity.

The compact form belies the fact that within is contained a complete and impressive range of features to satisfy even the most demanding photographer. As many as 406 images are captured in crystal clarity with the impressive 4.1 mega pixel sensor, and are stored on the camera's internal 32MB memory, or onto Memory Stick Duo. Download is quick and easy via the camera's USB interface.

This smart little camera also converts photos of text into a text document using the Digimax reader software.

The U-CA 401's useful macro mode allows the photographer to focus on subjects as close as 6 cm, and the Night Scene mode enables photography in almost total darkness. The self-timer allows the photographer to also be in on the action. The U-CA 401's impressive onboard video function captures movies with sound too, at 15 frames per second. Image and video preview and review can be done instantly on the built in color TFT LCD.

Adjustable Exposure controls and ISO settings mean that great results can be captured in a variety of shooting conditions. UCA 401 also has no less than 5 flash modes to capture images in their best light.

The helpful sharpness adjustments and other shooting modes, including Daylight, Cloudy, Sunset, Fluorescent, Tungsten or Custom, adapt to the shooting environment resulting in creative and easy image capture.

I have taken approximately two thousand pictures with it - many of these are excellent quality, however a large number of them are simply awful.
