With 6 mega-pixel high definition CCD, the Digimax V6 is useful even in shooting manuscripts for printing requiring high definition as well as for general pictures. This zoom variation allows the Digimax V6 user to take a wide range of scenes over changing distances. Digimax V6 takes up to 30 frames per second for movie clip of VGA size (640x480). Then, movie clip taken by the Digimax V6 can be played on general TVs without degradation of the image quality. Also, user can capture one still picture from movie clip.

The Digimax V6 uses 9 kinds of power supplies using the unique technology of Samsung Digital Camera. While Ni-MH rechargeable battery and exclusive Li-ion battery have short service hours, the Digimax V6 can instead use AA alkaline batteries that users can easily get in a market. These various types of power supplies eliminate the concerns about power supplies that are the most problematic in using digital cameras. Moreover, the exclusive 1400mAh Li-ion battery, with the highest capacity in the world, enables users to take 380 images equivalent to a service hour of about 190 minutes in succession. The PictBridge function of the Digimax V6 allows files taken by the camera to be directly printed without PCs, so users can immediately get clear 6 mega-pixel pictures by directly connecting the camera to a printer supporting the PictBridge function.

Similarly, users can set any image they want on the loading screen of the camera after adjusting the image size., The Digimax V6 supports additional functions such as, voice recording, voice memo to add voices to still image, and One-Touch playback.
