I’d lost a rather cheap but funky Samsung Digimax 400 (reviewed earlier on here) and quite liked the feel of the thing and had got used to the menus. Simply replacing the camera with the same model would not have been in the slightest bit therapeutic, so an upgrade was in order, which was my main reason for choosing the S600. a 512mb SD card enough for about 200 quality photographs. It also has a 32mb internal memory, although I never use it. However it can take MMC cards as well. Samsung include a USB cable for downloading photos to computer hard drive along with software (Arcsoft Photo Impression and Digimax Viewer.) Also included is another cable for connecting to your TV. For all the photograhers this is no SLR professional/semi professional, however for an amateur, or average user/the kids this is a great bargin. Current the average price is around £70-£90.
