Advantages: Good quality pictures, especially for the price!
Disadvantages: Take out accidental damage insurance in case lens breaks.
This is a great little camera. I owned one digital camera before this, but the previous hogged battery life. This is great as it is rechargeable, therefore i don't spend a fortune on batteries.
The picture quality on this little camera is very good. It takes good pictures up close and far away, but does mean that the settings have to be changed for very up close and normal pictures, which took a while to do the first time I used it for this. But the resultant pictures which were taken for my project work were great and look almost professional.
At first it took a while to get used to with the different dial and other options. And at first the pictures appeared blurry, but when put on the automatic setting this stopped.
This camera also has a handy lock function so people do not delete your pictures, which previously got annoying when you went out on night out and took loads of pictures, but then look the next morning to find your friends have deleted pictures of themselves and your left with hardly any pictures.
However I recently dropped this little camera and the lens has stopped working and so can no longer be used. From looking at other reviews this is a common problem so i would advise you to take out accidental insurance when you buy this camera just in case. I wish i had. Waiting to see how much it will cost, hopefully not to much as it really is a great little camera.
Summary: Camera is well worth the money (£65).
