In my opinion the L201 takes very goof quality pictures once the settings have been changed. When you first get the camera make sure to change the picture quality to "super fine". The colours are bright and rarely appear washed out and always look good quality due to the 10.2 mega pixels. The downside is sometimes the L201 has a tendency to over sharpen images - but on 9/10 occasions it is unnoticeable. Another bad thing about the L201 is the small 3X optical zoom which is by far the weakest point of the camera. There is also a 5X digital zoom that I would not reccomend using because the picture quality is apauling.
The L201 has lots of features that are not always mentioned on the website which sells it. It has all the different mode such as landscape, Portrait (including face recognition) etc. But what most surprised me was the fact you could take black and white, sepia and negative photos.
The flash on this camera is quite poor. It is fine for close up objects but if you are trying to take a picture of a scene at night often you cant see the results.

The video on this camera is not really a feature you want to use. The video seems fine on playback on the camera but when watching on the computer it seems stuttery and the sound quality is bad.

A very good thing about this camera is its battery life. It is a rechargeable battery that lasts for a very long time. I took around 250 photos and viewed them several times before the battery died.
