I got this camera to have with me at all times to capture the moment. It appealed to me as it was quite cheap and could easily fit in my pocket due to its small size and slim width. The 7x optical zoom is definitely a plus and is very good, but at maximum zoom you have to hold the camera very steady or mount it on a tripod to get sharp results. It has 20mb of internal memory so you can take a few pictures straight out of the box without moidering with a separate memory card (you will of course have to get a memory card in order to store more photographs).
The overall picture quality is average, even when on the best settings. In low light settings, the automatic settings do poorly, but it is simple to switch it onto manual and adjust it to get adequate photos.
All in all, this is an ok camera to take on nights out etc, but for anything more than that, I'm afraid the picture quality will probably let you down.
