Advantages: Very compact with good zoom

Disadvantages: No image stabilization

I wasn't sure I was going to like this product - as it was my first Samsung digital camera. However, I'm very glad I bought it. The build quality is excellent - all metal, and the camera features a 7x optical zoom lens which does not stick out from the body! The camera is very small, and i'm impressed that the designers managed to fit all of the technology into such a small case.

Image quality: Pictures are sharp and capture a good tonal range - You are able to manually select between 50-1600 iso, which helps in low light levels. Colour noise is not too bad, and even iso 1600 is useable.

Battery Life: Good, but probably not as good as the fuji f31.

Only downside is the lack of image stabilization, but I cant really complain as the L77 is a great camera that is well worth the money.
