I have had this camera for a few years now, and it is so handy to have around. It is simple and easy to use and takes good photographs.
The camera itself is compact and small enough to fit in a handbag. It has a variety of settings that allow the user to either point and shoot without any fuss, or go into the more detailed settings and play around. It takes stills and videos - something the kids really enjoy using it for!
The flash has various settings including on, off, anti red eye etc. It also has a a variety of scenes you can choose depending on what you are photographing - nightscene, beach&snow, fireworks, backlight, dawn, sunset, text, close up, landscape, children, and portrait.
It's default setting is 7megapixels which is more than adequate for taking everyday photographs. You can decrease this setting if you want to be able to take more photographs. It has a small internal memory as well as taking an SD card. I'm only using a 2GB card and have the camera on it's top settings and can take over 500 photos or over an hour on video.
The battery life is good but gets drained much quicker when using the flash. However, the battery doesn't take long to recharge, but it's always worth checking it if you're planning on taking loads of photographs.
Only problem I've encountered is in the image stability when there is low light etc, but mostly the photos have come out great.
