The Samsung Digimax S500 is a digital camera that was released a couple of years ago. It had not crossed my mind to write a review about it until I recently used it on holiday. The Samsung Digimax S500 is a 5.1 Mpixel camera supported by a 3 times optical zoom (the only zoom that matters). The one I have is the blue and silver one as I brought it abroad but here in the UK the silver one as seen in the photograpg is the more popular one. The camera fits well into your hand and is quite simple to use. It has a manual setting for those with a bit more experience but I keep it on automatic as it seems to take decent pictures all the time. The battery life is about 2-3 ...
