Excellent 10.1 MPixel camera at an affordable price (Samsung NV10)

Advantages: Lots of features ( adjustable exposure, aperture settings shooting modes etc)

Disadvantages: Too sexy for it's own good may attract thieves ( as my first one did :( )

I purchased this camera a few months ago and i am very pleased with it, it takes excellent pictures, the macro mode is very good for doing close ups. I read another review of this camera and the person said that it was very difficult to navagate all the menus and to view the pictures that you have taken, this guy has to be doing something wrong as i find it very easy to use, if you purchase a memory card with this and save all your pictures to that they all go to the same folder and you can view them all at once with ease you can view them as thumbnails with about 12 or so on the screen at once of you can view one at a time and then zoom in on the pictures and edit them if you wish (crop, brightness and things) it has lots of preset modes on it too for different types of weather and things (sunsets, fireworks, snow etc). I took this with me on a snowboarding holiday and it held up very well i got it out lots going down the slopes and it got a fair bit of snow and water on it and it kept on going. It also does very good videos with good quality sound for a little camera (sound and video both done with this camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzFlRiqt4VQ all my videos were done with this). This camera cost me about 185 quid new with a 2GB memory card which i think is pretty good value for what your getting. The buttons that you use to navagate the menus and photos and things are pretty unique too they are touch buttons that you roll your finger across to move things, and they also push in to select things, it makes for very quick selection of options as you don't have to trawl through 50 pages of menus to get to the function you want. It's also all made from metal which gives it a good quality feel and it's one of the best looking compact digital cameras out there.

Summary: Very good compact camera with loads of features crammed in.
