Great camera, shame about the dodgy buttons. (Samsung NV10)

Advantages: Good price with a decent range of features Disadvantages: The scroll bars make the menus difficult to navigate I first purchased this camera a few years ago on a trip to Hong Kong. At the time I was delighted with my purchase and since then if I have really felt the need to upgrade it. I am not really a serious photographer (otherwise I would have invested in an SLR) and I was just looking for something that was capable of taking decent holiday snaps and had a good range of features. I am pleased to say that this camera did not dissapoint. I found the picture quality to be excellent and it has lots of different picture settings, with the ability to record video (no sound when using zoom at the same time though). The one thing I dont like about the camera are the two scroll bars that you use for navigating through the various menus. These are quite difficult to master and very often result in you selecting the wrong option. Summary: If you dont want to invest in an SLR, you can't go wrong with this one
