Advantages: Easy to use, excellent quality pictures, ability to edit pictures on camera
Disadvantages: Rechargeable battery life
After my old Samsung (different model) was a few years out of date, I decided I needed to get a new camera so asked for one for Christmas. I wasn't too impressed with the fujifilm camera that I received and decided I had to steer back to a trusty Samsung one.
I researched for hours and came accoss this one as it was exactly what I was looking for. For me, it's not just about the amount of pixels, but also the lens that makes a good picture. Having the Schneider lens apart from the bog standard Samsung lens is what made me choose this camera.... as well as the fantastic price.
The smart touch scroll is very easy to use when you get used to it. It can be a bit fiddely at first, but you soon get the hang of it. It has many different scene modes which, due to the smart scroll can be accesed and chosen very quickly and easily.
The ability to edit pictures on your camera is also a very impressive feature for me. You can crop and change the colour of your 'already taken' pictures.
This camera would be ideal for someone who literally just wants to take quick, easy pictures or someone who likes to be a bit more creative and experiment with more advanced photography.
I cant say that I've had any problems with this camera. The only thing that I'm not too keen about is the rechargable battery. I like the idea of it being cost effective etc, but if you run out of battery when you're out and you don't have a spare, it can be frustrating.
Other than that, I would rate this camera very highly and I'm very pleased I chose this one.
Summary: Excellent qaulity camera, good value for money and very easy to use
