I'm going to go against the grain a bit, and try to write an honest critique which is contrary to all the other 5 star super-reviews on here. I've just upgraded to this Samsung camera from my old Canon Powershot, the Canon had only 4mp so the step up to 10mp should be spectacular, right? well no, not exactly. When we discovered that our digital camera had given up the ghost we went on the hunt for a new one. We wanted one that would be simple to use but took very good quality pictures as we had a new baby & wanted to have good pictures to look back on. My partner got this camera about 8 month ago and i like it so much i use it all the time. It looks very smart, slim and compact but not to small to hold so fits in your hand perfect, the viewing screen on the back is very large (2.7") and clear for taking photo's and reviewing your photo's afterwards so you can deleat the rubbish. Brought this for my girlfriend for christmas as she was always saying her old one was broken i went all over to try search for one that not only looked great but was a great camera product wise, i was torn between the sony cybershot or this one, after carefull consideration i chose the samsung s1070 in black.
