Advantages: great photo taking ability

Disadvantages: uses battery power quickly.

Bought this item from amazon for my ski trip to val thorens and on arrival i was instantly wowed.

For the price paid i was unsure if this camera would compete with other top of the range cameras but comparing this to my parents £200 10 megapixel camera i was delighted i bought this one over a more expensive one.

Essentials for the camera are:
Large memory card capacity which will allow you to save 100s of photos that you will then enjoy looking back at for years to come.
Good long lasting batteries, i unfortunately did not buy long life batteries so was let down by the life of the camera and if you intend to use in cold conditions make sure u have Lithium batteries.
A good sturdy camera case, you do not want to scrath the crisp screen the camera gives you and want to protect the camera from any little knocks or bumps.

Brilliant camera.

Summary: Buy this camera over other expensive ones.
