My partner got this camera about 8 month ago and i like it so much i use it all the time.
It looks very smart, slim and compact but not to small to hold so fits in your hand perfect, the viewing screen on the back is very large (2.7") and clear for taking photo's and reviewing your photo's afterwards so you can deleat the rubbish.
I think 10.2 mega pixils is just right for a holiday/snapshot camera and this one is perfect, it has all the bells and whistles if you want to change the settings and be a bit more adventurous, but if like me you just want to be able to grab it and shoot some nice pic's then it has a auto setting for that to!
It takes a Secure digital (SD) card wich are getting cheaper all the time a 2gb card is only about £5-10 now.
The picture quality is perfect in my opinion, i take the sd card out and put it in my laptop to transfer my pic's over.
I have used a few digi camera's and if i was asked to recomend one then this would be it

Summary: perfect family camera

As i have not used all the bells and whistles i was trying to get across that although it had all the bells and whistles it also makes an ideal family camera for those who just want to point and click
sorry if my review did not give enough detail
of the more technical bits

A little more detail about just what "the bells and whistles" are would have been handy. =:)
