The screen is nice and large (2.7"), which gives a good image, but not the sharpest screen I've seen compared to others.
There is a SMART button, which automatically chooses the settings for the camera depending on the lighting, focus, distance etc. This function works quite well, however it is a bit slow while processing, so don't use this function for action shots!

I bought this camera because it is so slim (1.7cm). Even though the camera is so small the buttons are positioned well and where you would 'expect' them, making the camera fairly easy to use. There are many useful functions and I would say that it is aimed at 'serious beginner'. Pictures are good quality, especially at 12 M pixels. 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom is adequate for most situations. It comes with a USB cable, which can be used to connect to a computer OR to connect to the wall charger socket. It also comes with an AV cable to connect to the TV.
