Sanyo VPC-AZ1Picture noise can be a problem with long exposure times. The VPC-AZ1 automatically activates noise reduction circuitry when the shutter speed exceeds 1/4 of a second to ensure high picture quality for nighttime photography and other long exposure modes. To ensure truly accurate auto exposure and auto white balance, this camera features 256-division multi algorithm processing. You can also set the camera for spot auto exposure or sampling white balance if you wish. Sanyo's unique auto focus technology checks contrast at various spots across the image (not just the center) to ensure faster, more precise focusing. There is also a Spot Focusing Mode to fix the focus on your main subject. A newly developed high-performance optical low path filter has solved the problem of infrared cutoff, thus ensuring superior coloring. This camera won't keep you waiting while that precious photo opportunity slips away. Sanyo's ASIC Super Graphic Processor and a large-capacity buffer memory make it possible to take 4-megapixel still shots at intervals of just 1.5 seconds (2288 Mode). |

Sanyo VPC-G200EX

Rating:
all the qualities required to make it “priceless” in my eyes. It is the Sanyo digicam VPC -G200 and has by now been superseded by other models. I have tried the newer versions by Sanyo and other companies and have as yet to find one that is even in the same league. Even Sanyo themselves seem to have lost their way in the development of the digital camera. Most cameras now rely on the smartcard whereas the G200 relies on an inbuilt memory to store images. This is really no hardship as it can store 140 images at normal resolution and 80 at high resolution, which is more than enough even when on holiday. It must be realised that the ...
Sanyo VPC-Z400EX
Sanyo VPC-Z400 (262 words)by - written on 07/05/01
Rating:
The Sanyo VPC -Z400 is meant primarily for businesses including real estate and insurance agents and appraisers and secondarily for consumers. But in general, it's a good choice for anyone who needs to take high-quality pictures with minimum work. One nice touch the VPC-Z400 shares with some other cameras in this overview (such as the Agfa ePhoto CL50) is a panel that opens to use sunlight as an LCD backlight outdoors although the LCD image still looks washed out in bright sunlight. The camera controls and icons are largely self-explanatory; we used the manual primarily to confirm that we had done everything right. Image quality was good by any measure. ...
Sanyo VPC-X350EX

Rating:
The Sanyo VPC -G250 ( not the one described but practically the same I think ) is a middle-of-the-range camera, ideal for general use. The name 'Sanyo' doesn't conjure up images of the most reliable of makes - but this camera really deserves a second look. Aesthetically it's small and need - quite boxy looking - but ultimately quite tactile, and with a good-sized LCD screen on the back for viewing, managing,# and even editing shots is as good as you'd find on a camera in excess of £500. While professionals or serious hobbyists may dislike the maximum resolution of 640x420, it's fairly standard on most modern lower-cost cameras. However, ...
