point and click camera decided to give up - naturally, I wanted a few happy snappy shots of my holiday, so I rushed out to buy a new one. The Sanyo Xacti VPC-S7 was on sale at the time, and it seemed to me to be a great deal. I m very glad I bought in on sale, however - it takes average pictures, no problem for holiday snaps and the like but of course not intended for the serious photographer. It certainly isn t worth any more than I paid for it. No, my main problem with this camera is that it simply isn t very reliable. Top class compact Digital Camera with excellent range of options making sharp, good quality images with spot on accurate colours. Stylish and solid build sporting superb Konica Minolta internal 3 x lens/zoom. Action and macro shots are a revelation! Very capable movie mode with sound - but no image stabilization.
