Sipix SP-1300 Shoot & Share ... Mega Pixel digital camera delivers spectacular detail and color. It features a 2x digital zoom to get up close to your subject. And with the fixed focus lens, taking a picture is as simple as pushing the shutter button. The 1.8-inch color LCD monitor provides accurate framing, image previewing and instant playback. Thin film transistor (TFT) technology displays a detailed colorful image.

The SP-1300 comes with the removable and reusable CompactFlash card. When the card reaches its capacity, simply remove it from the camera and insert a fresh one. SiPix SP-1300 features USB mass storage interface. With this device you can download the images from your camera to your computer without installing Twain driver or using additional graphic software.

This is my first digital camera, and it served me quite well for about a year, give or take. - As pointed out by the other user who wrote about this camera, the main coolness of this camera is the long battery life. It can even operate with regular zinc-carbon batteries and take over 10 photos. The flipside of this "medal" would be only the fact that it uses 4 batteries at a time or the fact that even if connected to the USB port of the PC, it will still drain power only from the batteries. - As far as resolution and picture quality is concerned, i have to say, the main problem would be not overexposure but underexposure. - The pictures taken ...  Read the complete review

Digital cameras have come a long way in the last few years. I remember not long ago being pursuaded to buy a brick ... well, more of a breezeblock really ... that was meant to be the best ever because it took a normal floppy disk. The camera was huge and heavy and the floppy disc slotted in at the side. When you took a photograph there was a clunking and whirring as the disk drive bounced into action and your image was recorded. The astute reader will be noticing already the obvious limitation of recording to diskette.
