      Good camera for general use

We spent a great deal of time trawling the internet and shops looking at different cameras. We were after one that could take moving shots and get close up shots. It needed to be easy and simple to use and understand. This Sony was one of the first we came across and the one that we kept coming back to over and over again. The others in the same league just didn't cut it for us. The quality can be felt with this one. We did buy the bigger lens as we knew we would be taking photographs of this further away, this proved to be a good buy. The pictures are excellent, even better than we expected them to be. We have just had the first 665 pictures developed and are very pleased with the results. The pictures are bright and clear and could I feel pass as professional. Would defiantly recommend for anyone wanting a nice, easy to use camera for home/hobby use.

Even first-time DSLR users can experience superb image quality plus generous creative features. Compact, easy to carry and comfortable to hold, it's also wonderfully simple to use.

Keep things crisp and even. SteadyShot inside reduces camera shake when you're shooting handheld. It's great for atmospheric, low-light scenes without flash as well as high-zoom shots when you haven't got a tripod handy. And it works with all your a lens collection, too.

The BIONZ processor inside your a camera is the key to its lightning-fast shooting responses. This powerful processing engine handles large amounts of digital information from the camera's sensor, delivering beautiful, low noise images, frame after frame.
