If you are looking for an entry level Digital SLR camera I would say that you can do no better than the Sony Alpha 200. Recently I was looking to purchase a digital SLR after my Canon EOS 650 started to develop a sticky shutter. Looking around for a beginners Digital SLR, the choice for me was between the Nikon D60 and the Canon EOS 400D. I always thought my preference would be for the Canon. taking a picture a complete mission. The slim camera is eaily slipped into a bag or pocket and the massive, crystal-clear screen is fabulous. The fact that it is 12 .1 mpx setting allows a beautiful, un-pixelated A3 image for those extra special photos. However, i recomend that you use the 5 mpx setting for general snaps as the camera doesnt come with a memory stick and you would be surprised just how fast you use up photos as photography become very addictive with this camera This said, though, the memory of the camera is quite large especially with a memory stick and you dont have to worry about using up space through the video function as you can still take hundreds ...
