I upgraded my sony cybershot t-7 to the sony h10. I really like the easy to use interface and buttons. The dial on the top lets you choose different settings and they also show up on the screen. I really enjoy black and white photos so I keep the 'p' setting to black and white so I can easily swap between taking regular photos and pretty black and white photos. The camera takes very good quality photos especially for not being a dslr. One of my favourite things about the sony h10 is that its not a skinny little point and shoot. Its a pretty camera, it looks and feels a bit like a dslr. Im terrbile for dropping and losing cameras, but this is so solid and chunky, I dont do that!
The only thing about the h10 that I would change is the flash, theres no inbetween from no flash, which works well, if its not to bright it can be a little shakey, to this very powerful flash that blinds everyone and can make a pale person like myself look ghostly!
I would recommend the H10 to begginner photographers and amatuer ones alike.
