I love this camera. The best Digital Camera I ve used so far. The screen displays exactly what you are using and it s not complicated. The battery life is long and displayed on the screen, which means you can keep an eye on whether it needs recharging. I find the movie feature excellent. Here s how, turn the dial to movie and the icon appears onscreen press the top button to start recording and to stop, simple! Therefore, there is no need to wade through the manual. The zoom is placed around the main top button and performs well, and to navigate around the picture you use the large outer circular button at the rear bottom right. that good so the sound quality is not great. The memory sticks are the standard Sony ones that are easy to get hold of... you might already have one in an MP3 player hanging around. You can buy one of those cheap card readers to transfer the images to save plugging in the cables and camera. The batteries seem to last a good time and you can use either the rechargeables, supplied, or swap them out for 2 standard AA batteries. Very handy if you do run out when you re out and about.
