My last camera was a Sony and I was very much anticipating buying this camera and was not dissapointed. The emphasis here is firmly placed on value and ease of use which is exactly what I was looking for. Style and quality of construction play a major part as is always evident with Sony products. There really are no clear negatives with this product, although it could deal with having a lithium battery which would make long term costs cheaper, however I will list the postive features below that I enjoyed about this product. Postivies 7.2 megapixels which is high quality although not as high as my other digital camera which is Kodak with 10.2 ... Read the complete review

I am writing this review as i own this camera from last 2 years and i am satisfied from its results. The model is very sleek and comfortable to carry anywhere, also the functions can be easily understood by any new person using it. The LCD Screen is 2.4 inch wide and the there is 3x optical lens provided with zoom facility at top right from where near or far away pictures could be easily set viewing them onscreen. The model is of 7.2 megapixel( megapixel is term from computer science used to signify the discrete component of any picture by its resolution, the higher the resolution the clearer would be the picture). The battery life is also good, once charged ... Read the complete review

The cybershot was my first digital camera and I have been hugely impressed. We have used it for photos and video, managing to capture amazing stills of the Northern Lights, which the tour guides were astounded at, as usually only professional photographers manage to capture them. We've filmed while skiing, while in humid conditions, in bright light, dark light.. I could go on! This really is an outstanding and easy to use camera. Having never used a digital camera before, both my husband and I took to this one quickly and without having to read the manual (always a bonus!!) I would highly recommend it. I have also tried other cybershots and generally speaking you ... Read the complete review

I bought a Sony Cyber-shot when my previous, well loved camera, was dropped and sadly broke, so the Cyber-shot had a lot to live up to. In some areas, it succeeded. In others, it didn't. The Cyber-shot is visually pleasing with a slick chrome finish and easy to use click wheel at the top of the camera to allow you to alternate between a variety of pre set photo settings such as 'twilight' and 'snow'. The preview screen on the back is a decent size for viewing the pictures you've taken, and the lens retracts into the body of the camera which prevents it being damaged, with an automatic lens cap that closes when the camera is switched off to prevent scratching. ...
