Perfect Beginners (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S730)
Member Name: jamesbm
Advantages: realiable, good quality pictures, easy software and memory options Disadvantages: limited zoom The Sony Cyber-shot impressed me from day one. The spec alone rivals models costing twice the average retail for the cyber shot. The 7.2 meagpixels captures stills amazingly and thanks to recent upgrades now moving pictures experience the same excellence due to image stabilisation which exceeds any other on the market at this price. The cyber shot offers 3X optical zoom, again better than the majority of the competitors. Competitors offer digital zoom which is pointless as digital zoom can be added on the computer. the optical zoom quickly adjusts and focuses to produce great pictures at a fast rate. the camera although aimed as a beginners market as an entrance model, features many factors which could persaude proffesionals or serious photographers to carry this model around. the size and weight are ideal plus the picture quality is of high calibre. Plus the software is ideal for editing, plus the memory options make displaying pictures on a tv or computer very easy. This is a perfect starting digital camera and will satisfy most as an upgrade, however some may find this series two limited due to zoom. Summary: A great first buy and can provide as a upgrade for the majority.
