I take this camera everywhere due to it's compactness, lightness and ease of use. The LCD screen virtually takes up the whole of the back panel, allowing pictures to be viewed very easily and clearly. The controls are also very simple to understand and use and easily allow you to swtich between settings. Overall it really is a great little camera for the first time user. It is not necessarily the cheapest camera, well it is sony after all, but it does have 10.1 megapixels meaning the quality of the picture is very good.

The menu has large text to read and again, is simple to understand. You are given a simple description of what each option will do and why you may need it. i.e.when setting to take a photo, if you select the little snowman it will say underneath it, 'Snow'. This is probably on many cameras now but it was definately a selling point for me. The zoom range is also extremely good. The face recognition feature will pick up numerous faces in one photo; it will not just pick up on the closest one so everyong will be in focus. It really is a good little compact camera, that's easy to take with you and easy to use.
